The Southern California Outrigger Racing Association puts on this annual canoe event in Marina del Rey. Courses vary depending on experience level, but all put-in at Marina Beach. The full Open Race (advanced) runs 11 miles, starting outside the Marina break wall and heading north to Santa Monica Pier on a triangle course. 8 a.m. start time.
