The marina offers wide open spaces on and near the water with plenty of fun kids activities that keep families safe and more than six feet apart from others.

1. Relax at Burton Chace Park

Head to this beautiful 10-acre park surrounded by water. Bring your own food or order takeout for a picnic. Note: picnic tables are closed, so find a spot on the grass to socially distance from others. Other fun things to do here: Ride bikes or scooters, fly a kite, or keep an eye out for sea lions on the docks.

2. Cruise on the Marina WaterBus

Ride the WaterBus for just $1 per person one-way. This popular family-friendly activity is only available June through early September. Kids and grown-ups alike enjoy seeing sea lions play in the harbor as the WaterBus makes stops along different areas. Contactless ticketing now available.

Marina "Mother's" Beach offers a calm cove with a roped-off area for kids to wade, play, build sandcastles and enjoy being kids! For kids eager to get on the water, rent tandem kayaks and stand-up paddleboards and explore the harbor. Hourly rentals are available through ProSUP Shop or Paddle Method.
