September in MDR offers a mix of free, family-friendly events. Here’s a quick look at what’s happening in Marina del Rey this month. 

ride the marina waterbus for $1

The popular Marina WaterBus will continue operating on Fridays and Sundays through September. Additionally, the open-air water taxi will offer rides on Sundays through October.  Click here for more information.

 

JAMAICA BAY INN’S MOVIES ON THE LAWN, sundays at 7pm

SALT: MEET YOUR MAKERS SERIES 

Head to SALT Bar & Restaurant to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month with an exclusive event at the Marina del Rey Hotel. Meet the artisans behind Maker’s Mark as you indulge in their private barrel selection and expertly crafted cocktails. September at Sinder, inside the Marina del Rey Marriott, is brimming with exciting events. Kick off the month with Tito’s Vodka $10 Mule Mondays, available every week from 5 p.m. to close. Other flavorful events include:

  • September 7: Indulge in a craft beer tasting featuring local favorites for just $18
  • September 13: Experience the Adictivo Tequila Tasting on September 13 and savor four premium tequilas for $35
  • September 14: Delight in a filet mignon dinner special from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $55, featuring a rich port wine demi-glaze, creamy potato purée, and seasonal vegetables
  • September 20: Join the Woodford Reserve Tasting from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to explore Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Straight Rye Whiskey, and Double Oaked Bourbon for $30
  • September 21: Celebrate with the Caipirinha Flavor Fiesta on September 21, where you can enjoy Kiwi, Passionfruit, and Classic Caipirinhas for $15 each.
