What happens at GLOW Party?
On December 31, celebrate the arrival of 2024 at the annual GLOW Party in Burton Chace Park and New Year’s Eve Fireworks show in the Marina del Rey channel. The event offers family-friendly festivities such as DJ music, live entertainment, food trucks, face painting, photo booths and more. Click here to view the flyer.
Where and when is GLOW Party?
GLOW Party is located at Burton Chace Park on December 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight. Admission is FREE.
Where can we watch the NYE fireworks?
You can watch the East Coast and West Coast countdown (8:59 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.), each followed by a spectacular 10-minute fireworks show from Burton Chace Park. Other viewing spots include Fisherman’s Village, North Jetty, and South Jetty. The fireworks can also be viewed at some restaurants along the water such as Tony P’s Dockside Grill, SALT, Whiskey Red’s, Killer Shrimp and El Torito. Can we watch the fireworks from a boat?

How long is the fireworks show?
The Marina del Rey New Year’s Eve Fireworks show is 10 minutes each. The first show is after the East Coast countdown at 8:59 p.m. and the second show is at 11:59 p.m.
Where is the best parking?
Most parking lots in Marina del Rey are metered and can be paid with credit card or exact cash ($1 or $5 bills only).
The closest parking lots to Burton Chace Park are Lot #77 and Lot #4 along Mindanao Way. Be prepared as the Burton Chace Park lot within the park fills up quickly (about 50 spots and 4 accessible spaces). For those with mobility issues, you’re welcome to drop off guests within the Burton Chace Park lot and then park your vehicle at Lot #77 or Lot #4. The paved paths are flat and wheelchair and stroller accessible.
